Terms of use

By using SAT Score Calculators you agree to these terms. They are short, and written to be understood rather than to be impressive.

What this site is

A free reference for understanding standardized test scoring. It reproduces published conversion and percentile tables, applies them to numbers you enter, and explains how it did so.

Estimates, not official scores

Every result produced here is an estimate for a practice test. It is not an official score, it has no standing with any college or testing organisation, and your actual score may differ.

Where a result is labelled an estimate rather than an exact conversion, that label is load-bearing. It means no official conversion table exists for what you took, and the number is modelled. The methodology page sets out exactly what is exact and what is estimated.

Do not make an irreversible decision, such as skipping a retake or dropping a college from your list, on the strength of a number from this or any other calculator.

No warranty

This site is provided as is. Considerable effort goes into accuracy, every figure is cited, and the extraction is validated programmatically, but no guarantee is made that the site is free of errors or that source documents have not changed since they were retrieved. Each data page shows when its data was last pulled.

To the extent permitted by law, the site and its editor are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here.

Trademarks

SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT and AP are registered trademarks of the College Board. ACT is a registered trademark of ACT, Inc. Neither organisation is affiliated with this site, was involved in producing it, or endorses it. Those names are used descriptively, to identify which examination each tool relates to, which is a normal and permissible use.

No College Board or ACT logo appears anywhere on this site, and none may be inferred from it.

Third-party content

Conversion tables, percentile tables and concordance tables are factual data published by the College Board and ACT. They are reproduced here with attribution and a link to the source document. No test questions, passages or other copyrighted test content are reproduced.

Copyright in those underlying documents remains with their publishers. If you are a rights holder and believe something here exceeds fair use, please get in touch and it will be addressed promptly.

Using this site's material

The written explanations, the extraction scripts and the site design are the work of this site. You may quote from it with attribution and a link. Wholesale republication of the written content is not permitted.

If you want to cite a figure, cite the original College Board or ACT document rather than this site. Every one of them is listed here, which is the whole reason that page exists.

Advertising

This site carries third-party advertising. Advertisements are not endorsements, and no advertiser has any influence over the data, the methodology or the written content. The privacy policy explains what advertising cookies do and how to opt out.
